Auditions
GENERAL AUDITION GUIDELINES,
unless otherwise noted:
No appointment is necessary. Please come anytime during the posted audition dates and times (first come, first serve).
Upon arrival please fill out an audition form and contact sheet; if you have a head-shot and resume that will replace both these items.
Please bring a pre-prepared one minute monologue and a pre-prepared one minute song. There will not be an accompanist available, so please bring a CD for accompaniment if you like.
We will also have cold readings available from the script.
After your audition, you will be emailed whether or not you are cast. Casting decisions take approximately 2-3 weeks. Please do not call the theatre, we will email you.
Parts are cast based on availability, talent, and previous experience.
Keep in mind:
After initial auditions, we will meet together to audition for specific parts at the first show meeting. The first meeting is usually callbacks unless otherwise indicated by the director.
All cast members are REQUIRED to presell 18-25 tickets for their show prior to opening, depending on the run and cast in the show. That is a requirement of being involved in this community theatre production.
