Teen Homeschool Acting Class
Ages 12- 18
(13 weeks)
Rehearses Mondays 1-2:00
Feb.1 – April 26 Cost $100
Children will be exposed to the concepts of socialization / teamwork / problem solving / improv / monologues / acting / group dynamics / and much more. During the 13 weeks session, taught by degreed instructors. Children will build skills and abilities. Each class meets for an hour. Maximum class size will be 12 students.
• Our actors learn to embody any kind of role, access any state of being on cue and engage in a deep exploration of story-telling through acting.
• Our acting school is a place for artists from all over the world — committed to a journey of self-discovery, performance, and fun focusing on the concepts made famous by Uta Hagen, Viola Spolin, Lee Strasberg and many more.
• Your classes are small and intense. Or, if you are a professional, you may prefer private coaching which can be arranged through our website.

 

Other Spring Afternoon / Evening Classes

Which Hero are you?
(14 weeks) 2 performances
Rehearses Thursday 5-6:00 K-5th cost $180
Loosely based on the wildly popluar cartoons Ben10, spongebob, robotboy, the league of supervillians and others … children will pick their favorite hero or villian and after a few weeks of training write an original script together based on their own ideas and creations. Don't have a favorite hero or villian? That's okay we'll make one up together. 14 week class taught by degreed instructors with extensive training in early childhood development. Each class meets for an hour. Maximum class size will be 12 students. First class will be at  January 28, 2010 at 5:00.

princess

Dancing Princesses
(14 weeks) 2 performances
Rehearses Thursdays 6-7 K-5th  Cost $180
Children will dance and act to the classic children's story of the 12 dancing princesses. Acting, dance and skill will be taught degreed instructors with extensive training in early childhood development. The class will culminate with 2 performances of the show. Children will be asked to memorize lines at home and parts will NOT be double cast. Each class meets for an hour. Maximum class size will be 12 students. First class will be January 28, 2010 at 6:00.
