Becky McCants (Director) is a cofounder and Managing Artistic Director for Word of Mouth Productions. Since it’s first main stage production, Smoke on the Mountain, in June of 2004, she has produced, directed (and sometimes acted in) 20 productions with the company. Before that, she graduated, many moons ago, with a B.A. in Theatre and has performed on stages in Little Rock, Arkansas; Atlanta, Georgia; Charleston, South Carolina; Nashville, Tennessee and Dallas, Texas. Favorite roles include, Ado Annie in Oklahoma, Minnie Faye in Hello Dolly!, Shelby in Steel Magnolia’s, Chava in Fiddler on the Roof and Grubby Shurtz in Males Order Brides! Directing faves have been Cotton Patch Gospel, Annie Oakley, Sleepy Hollow, the Musical and many others!
