Laura Goepper
Piano Lessons
Laura Goepper, a graduate of University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Music in piano performance, teaches piano with passion, precision, and patience. She has taught piano at the Central Music Academy in Lexington, the Seven Hills School in Cincinnati, the Northern Kentucky Music Preparatory Department, Centre for Musical Minds in Frisco, and maintains a private studio in Allen. Inspired from music festivals she attended in France and Austria as an accompanist, Laura believes that teaching piano is beyond the right notes, rhythms, and fingerings.
Traveling with the King’s Brass across the United States gave her a renewed perspective of performing 120 concerts in 2008 – 2009. Laura also enjoys collaborating in musical productions and has played for 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Songs for a New World, Oliver, Bye, Bye, Birdie, to name a few of her favorites. Her goal is to become a better pianist through studying piano with Alfred Mouledous and to begin a Master’s in Theory Pedagogy by fall 2011, both at Southern Methodist University. Laura desires to inspire children through learning the universal language of music.
