Satire Plot Summary:

When the most upstanding 1940's teenage kid Jimmy Harper succumbs to the evil temptations of the terrifying Reefer; he stumbles upon Satan's door of Sin, Decadence, and Murder. The Reefer Denizen's begin to bring the great Americana Town to its knees. Poor Mary Lane (Jimmy Harper's High School sweetheart.) tries to save Jimmy, but will she be too late?

Witness the ever -so-startling conclusion of Reefer Madness!

Plot of Show:

Dewey Frye is dead and the rest of his family is left to pick up the pieces -- that is if they don't kill each other first. Not only does matriarch Dorothy have to contend with sudden widowhood, but she's also faced with church-committee harpy Ozella Meeks sticking her nose in the family business, Dewey's snake-in-the-grass brother making a grab for her house, and two grown daughters reliving their childhood rivalry. Funerals bring out the worst, the best, and the funniest in people, and the Fryes are no exception. A big-hearted comedy about family -- Southern-style.

Art Centre Theatre Opens Death Note Auditions!

An Original Adaptation Loosely based on the characters from the manga

Looking to fill in all roles. Strongly looking for people that are East Asian to be in the show. Everyone is welcome.

Audition Requirements:

- Come prepared with a 1 minute monologue

- Come prepared with a Song of your choice (Instrumental can be on phone or you tube.)

- Director wants to know your favorite Death Note Character.

PLOT OF SHOW:

The story follows Light Yagami, a genius high school student who discovers a mysterious notebook: the "Death Note", which belonged to the Shinigami Ryuk, and grants the user the supernatural ability to kill anyone whose name is written in its pages.
