Plano Ghost Tour!
Hello!
My name is Kathryn Iklé, and I’m the Executive Director of the Collin County History Museum in Historic Downtown McKinney. I’m reaching out to local theatre programs, acting groups, colleges, and student organizations to share a fun volunteer performance opportunity with your members and students.
On Saturday, October 24, 2026, we’re hosting our Haunted History Ghost Tour—an immersive evening that brings the museum and local history to life through ghostly characters and storytelling.

We’re looking for additional volunteers to portray ghostly apparitions throughout the museum. This is a great opportunity for actors, theatre students, improv performers, or anyone who loves performing and Halloween!
Volunteers will help create the atmosphere of the evening by portraying characters throughout our historic museum and interacting with guests as they make their way through the experience.
Professional acting experience is not required—we’re looking for enthusiastic people who are comfortable getting into character and having some spooky fun!
Sign up to volunteer here:
We would greatly appreciate it if you could share this opportunity with your students, members, actors, or anyone else who may be interested.
Thank you for helping us spread the word. We’d love to have members of your community join our haunted crew!
Sincerely,
Kathryn Iklé (E-clay)
