Double Casting -- ACT utilizes Double Casting for every show. It secures many a chance to be on stage as a main role, and in the event any role are unable to perform, the show may go on. ​​

Seeking:
-- Flexible Cast: typically around 4 to 5 core readers/actors plus a narrator
-- all body types, ages, abilities, races, gender identities, new to theater or seasoned

What to Expect:
Much like "The Vagina Monologues" in structure, this production is about the last words written in letters by individuals lost to suicide — including celebrities, veterans, kids that were bullied, LGBTQ, and the clinically depressed — and those who have survived suicide attempts. The play has traveled across the country, raising awareness and offering hope for suicide prevention.​​

Seeking:

-- all body types, ages, abilities, races, gender identities, new to theater or seasoned for a flexible-casting production.

What to Expect:
A raunchy and fun comedy with lots of songs. Rated PG-13. Humor is Monty Python's kind of humor. Expect 1 or 2 rehearsals a week. Actors might participate as multiple roles.

Audition Requirements:
-- For Acting: Prepare a 1 minute monologue.
-- For Music: Prepare a 1-minute song. You can use your phone for instrumentals. No Vocals.

Double Bubble Comedy & Cabaret

-- 15 or more (18+) all body types, ages, abilities, races, gender identities, new to theater or seasoned for a flexible-casting production. (please note your preferences for skit/song/dance/ burlesque/any when you audition)

What to Expect:
Fast paced sketch comedy, singing , dancing, burlesque, solo act ( IE: magic, drag, boylesque, juggling, tap dance, queerlesque, or other talent)

Audition for a Touring Show

Qualifications to be in a Touring Show:
-
Every year ACT rounds up public, private, and home-school kids ages 12-18.
​

Interested parties should have reliable transportation, an open summer schedule, a pleasant nature, enjoy children and adults, and be willing to learn multiple scripts.
​

During the summer shows can run from 9 am till 2 pm M-F - this allows for a summer job after 2:00 or on weekends.
​
-
Auditionees need to bring a one-minute monologue and be prepared to answer random improv questions react to situations.
​

Spots are paid, but are subject to availability. Participants will be paid a split from the shows.
​

Auditionees must be able to pass a background check/drug test.
​

Those wishing to continue the tour schedule into the fall will have first dibs on spots.
​
-
Preference is given to those who can commit to being in the tour troupe for a full year, however, this is not mandatory.​
